The trailer for the upcoming movie, whose prequel set the style later used by The Matrix, is now up on the internet. No mention of a US release date, and the trailer and movie site are in Japanese.

By the way, anime producer Mitsuhisa Ishikawa (whose animation sutdio has major involvment in the Ghost in the Shell series) is also responsible for the animated segments in Kill Bill.

yep the animation portion is done by production I.G, also the same makers of cowboy bebop and samurai champloo
