Earily rumours are that Hugh Laurie is set to play Arthur and that Jeff Goldblum will play Ford.

This scares me as much as it excites me. I hate when they try to make a book into a movie. Does anyone remember Queen Of The Damned? I didn't think so. I just hope DNA is watching and "Guiding" from the stars.

can't wait... any news on the plot? i mean, will it just be the first, or will they try to combine it with 'resturant'? just one thing... jeff goldblum? as ford? that's not a good fit, man, not a good fit at all. Peace.

Umm...you guys act like this is the first time. They've made the Hitchhiker movie already in 1981. It was amazingly good and fit with the book exactly (except that it went into book 2). I just hope these people know what they're doing. :-/

Woot! An actual *good* version will be made! I wonder what the people in the movie theatre would say if I came into the place demanding a thousand tickets, wearing but a TOWEL!! HAHAHAHA! *cough* Maybe not. I think that dude from Moulin Rouge and Big Fish would be good as Arthur. Dunno his name... Ah well. *runs away*
