Talented Motherf*cker On the Rise
By Wind(up)bird on July 17, 2003 1:53 PM
David Gordon Green, the talented director behind the indie films, "George Washington" and "All the Real Girls," has finished shooting his next film, "Undertow" and plans for his third film, the Steven Soderbergh-scripted, celebrated novel, "The Confederacy of Dunces," are in full swing. "Undertow" is a script Gordon Green wrote based on an idea famed and reclusive director Terrence Malick suggested to him. After seeing "George Washington," Malick approached Green to see of he would be interested in working together. If that's not cool enough, Phillip Glass is going to help with the score.
"Dunces" isn't scheduled to go into production until the fall. Recently Drew Barrymore added herself(or been added, not sure since she's also producing) to the cast of "Dunces" along side another talented motherfucker, Mos Def. Rumors of talented motherfucker number three, Phillip Seymor Hoffman, being cast in the lead roll are so far just that.
