Subject: RE: Comments about Altman

Lydia, perhaps next time you will read all of the comments instead of just "some."  You will notice not once is MASH bashed (yet).

As for your assessment of the TV series you couldn't be further off--the TV series did more for political satire than Altman and cohorts ever dreamed of. Now that you have cable in BFE maybe you will learn this by actually paying attention to some episodes.

And finally you have completely skirted (pun intended) the issue of the article other than to deflect to a "censorship is sometimes good" stance. Good for you!  That fascist training in the Maryland Militia is beginning to sink in.

Altman, despite his inability to make another good movie at this time, does still carry that "fatherly" figure stature in Hollywood.  They have a hard enough time coming up with anything interesting to watch without the developers becoming "oversensitised" to Altman's radical, rabid PC baloney.  Therefore, pack it up and stuff it where the sun don't shine, Oscar Meyer.

I realize after reading some of your articles on Yahoo that this will be tough for you to accept.  Perhaps you idolize Altman because you too have a case of "baloney" envy.

Come back anytime and comment.  The women we have here now know how to put the "woe" in women. Love, Power-trip
