I'm so sick and tired of people claiming to understand the great truths of the universe about "normalcy" and "art," but who can't even read a damn post without jumping to conclusions!

1) Whether or not you like something has nothing to do with whether or not its "art." If you don't like Manson, that doesn't mean his music isn't art. Likewise, if you DO like Manson, that doesn't mean his work IS art. Your personal f*cking tastes are not the determiner of "art," even if your ego is swollen enough that you think anyone cares.

2) Just because someone doesn't like Manson doesn't mean they are automatically Christian. By assuming they are, you're just falling into the same trap that assumes that Manson is evil because he's "different" from the so-called mainstream. Furthermore, you're showing your own stupid assumptions about the world! A Manson-hater might in fact be Jewish, Hindu, Muslim... or even Pagan, agnostic, atheist, or something else entirely. Don't preach about people having to listen to and recognize Manson as brilliant if you can't stop your idiot mind from jumping to conclusions about their reasons for their opinions.

I don't care one way or the other about Manson and his music. Nor do I care about Christianity. They're both part of the cultural landscape. But rabid, STUPID Mansonites are just as annoying as rabid, STUPID Christians to me.
