I hate the gap, but i don't see how its anti-gap, its just about how they are changing the old store into a new one, or 'making it better'. Funny commercial though.

the difference between the original cut and the Gap cut is immense. The original has an intensity that makes the humor more unique. The Gap cut just feels like another commercial on Television.

Of course it's an anti-gap ad. Everyone wants to destroy the Gap and give it a few punches. The Gap image (dress shirt and khakis) is literally tackled to the ground. Someone who drives by smiles before running her car into the store. There is obvious pleasure in destroying the Gap. But it is unfortunate that it is ultimately a Gap ad. It only gives them more credibility that they are assaulting their bread and butter. They don't deserve such a good advertisement.

the gap cut version stinks compared to the original. At least they didn't go with the better one.

Has anyone noticed that the only difference between the two is the music? Am I the only one that noticed this?

Of course it's an anti-Gap ad! It's called subversion.
The reason Gap changed the music was because they didn't want it to sound like the end of the Gap in entirety. That's what the first ad certainly advocates--even if it's f-in' funny.
