Amazon.com is the debuting the first teaser with actual footage of the much anticipated film version of this geek bible book series written by Douglas Adams. The film is directed by Garth Jennings and is loaded with and odd but interesting cast. Adams wrote the script and executive produced. (Updated! Now in Quicktime!)

This flick looks strong (great production value, good gags) even if there has been some changes made from the book. Is it just us though, or does Sam Rockwell remind you a little of Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne here?
