So you got yourself a really cool dvd movie, and right away push it on your ps3 player, only to get ps3
80029946? Really sucks, right?!?
You're quite sure you had the originally purchased dvd, and not some burned dvd copied from somewhere, so why are you getting an error message that says
your video cannot be played back? Do a quick search online and for sure you will get a description telling you that you are attempting to play a Dual layer NTSC
disc on a PAL ps3. It does not make any sense on your end, leaving you scratching your head!
The first thing to do is to make sure you have the latest video playing updates on your ps3. For example, if that video you have happens to be a DivX type video,
then make sure you have downloaded the latest DivX update for your ps3.
If this does not work for you and that you know you had the latest updates on your ps3, then another fix is to change the video settings on your ps3. This means
that the current video settings on your ps3 may not be matching the video type of the disc you have inserted in it. For more help on fixing other related problems, just go to the PS3 Lights Fix Site and get the latest tips and solutions.
