If you can call earning $48 million underwhelming(for a film that cost $120m to make), than yes, it was a quiet weekend for giant expectations. People just hate this Cruise guy, don't they. What happened to that interesting trend in his career when he started doing things like Magnolia? Who told him to steer clear of decent, small scripts that matter? He was good in that flick.
