Frankly if some would like to see more, fantasize about or do erotic things to Janets tts... well nobody would really care much! ....as long as this is done in private and not shared to those who would like no part of it.

The whole point of this "America is Upset Syndrome" is that in a very public event the responses to a particular action, attire or language will be as numerous as the grains of sand. And everyone has the right to his own opinion or reaction. What may offend one will not the other. However, the former does not have the right to impose his value on the latter and vice-versa.

That is why in general public events the middle ground is taken....avoiding the extremes which more often creates the controversial reactions from varied sectors. This way it is assumed that both extremes of the spectrum will generally accept the middle ground. What happened in the Super Bowl was definely not middle ground American behaviour... and many felt it was intentional rather than accidental.

To resort to labeling the extremes of the spectrum as fools, prudes, maniacs, catholics etc... reflects the lack of tolerance for the rights of others and the emptiness of one's arguments.

Of course, public events which are focused for a particular segment like a rock concert by a heavy metal rock band or the Mardi Gras or the Carnival in Rio... do not fall into the category. The very nature of these events  require acceptance of  some nudity,"profanity" and drunkeness. These are not events for puritans or prudes. However to label these as acceptable to the general public as these are middle ground behaviour will be taxing too much the trait of tolerance to the point of permissiveness.
