Bruce Campbell ("Evil Dead" films) has joined the cast of "Sky High," according to
The Hollywood Reporter. Campbell will be playing a coach in the film which tells the story of a high school for teens with superpowers.
The film stars Kurt Russell and Kelly Preston ("Jerry Maguire") Other co-stars include Lynda Carter ("Wonder Woman"), and Dave Foley ("Kids in the Hall").
Carter plays the principal, Foley plays the teacher of the sidekicks (Mr. Boy, ha ha), and Campbell plays Coach Boomer--who has to weed the sidekicks from the superheroes.
It's an interesting concept, but don't get your hopes up--it's being billed as one of Disney's "family comedies."
"Sky High" is directed by Mike Mitchell ("Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo"). It beins filming this month and is due out next year.
