Sure, we'd love to the affeminate Cobra Commander on the big screen just as much as the next guy, but this approach feels wrong. Bad Idea # 1, fast-track a live-action film version of G.I. Joe. Bad(der) Idea, get Steve Sommers (Mummy flicks, Van Helsing) to direct the son of a bitch. Stuart Beattie is the rumored writer (not bad, POTC flicks) and the studio wants a february start date. Ugh.
