PS3 error code 80029752: Sharing games can be a problem

You got ps3 error code 80029752 instead of seeing your game load? That is what happens when you do game sharing.


Sony is aware that many gamers out there would be downloading their games several times using only 1 PSN account, so they must have placed in some protection schemes. Too bad it appears more like an error than a legitimate message to avoid game sharing.


PS3 80029752 happens when, for instance, you and your friend like to play the same game and went to download it. But instead of downloading the game using your individual accounts, you decided to use only 1 account, yours or his. Furthermore, you and your friend must have been downloading the same game at the same time, so what will happen is that whoever was able to download faster and was able to install the game first, ps3 error code 80029752 would appear on the other guy.


The solution to this problem is really simple, although weird. Sony tech guys call this the 24 hour error code. That's because after you buy or download, install and started playing the game, the other guy would used the same account to download and play the same game would have to wait 24 hours before he can play.
