Topic: Dtheatre.com TOP TEN REVIEWED SUMMER '06 MOVIES
By Wind(up)bird on 2006-07-18 05:00:34
Clicking around over at Metacritic.com got us thinking about good movies vs. movies that make a shitload of fucking money (see also POTC).  Well, according to Metacritic, the top ten best-reviewed flicks by critics all over this bitch (America) are a mix of big grossers and smaller films.  It is a confusing list.  Does it make sense to you or do the top ten money makers better represent your likes and dislikes?  Just wondering. Click on for the list, vote on your own.

Here are the Top Ten Reviewed Movies of summer of '06, so far (according to Metacritic).

1. United 93
2. Inside Man
3. Prairie Home Companion, A
4. Scanner Darkly, A
5. Cars
6. Superman Returns
7. Akeelah and the Bee
8. Over the Hedge
9. Mission: Impossible III
10. Devil Wears Prada

Dig deeper over at Metacritic (we sorted by score to get our this list), vote on your top ten in the comments.  And if you asked us, we'd tell you that Superman Returns was a trainwreck of decent but confused intentions and the Inside Man, was lame.
