Removing a layer effect in Photoshop
You can quickly remove a layer effect by holding down the
[option] key ([Alt] key in Windows) and then double-clicking
on the Layer Effect icon in the Layers palette. As an alternative,
double-clicking on the icon brings up the Effects dialog box,
where you can deselect the Apply check box. Click OK and the
effect is removed.
