An easier way to select masks in Illustrator (8)
In Illustrator 8, you can fill masks. Sometimes this can cause problems when you try to select objects within the mask. If you're having difficulty selecting objects within a mask, choose the Direct Selection tool, select the mask, and choose Object > Arrange > Sent To Back.
