(Reel)Luckily this time it wasn't for anything criminal. Not that that matters because Junior is in the slammer as you read this. He and his dad have been sued over failure to turn in a script on time. You'd think he'd have time to jot down a few lines while sitting in his cold, dark cell. The screenplay, titled The Very Special, was to be directed by senior and performed by Downey Jr. The producers of the Lloyd Silverman Productions, Richard Finney and Terence Micheal, claim they paid the Downeys $225 thousand for the undelivered screenplay. It seems they've all got a bit of a problem on their hands...
On top of that, Downey Jr.'s lawyers are claiming that the actor was due for parole a few months back, and that the judge made a "mathematical and legal" error which sent him to jail for 3 years. He's eligible for parole on November 2nd of this year.

I wonder that no one in Hollywood finds it relevant that Richard Finney is once again taking advantage of yet another person--along with help from his partner in crime, Brooke Skulski, who, incidentally also has a criminal record! This guy doesn't even pay his child support! I think reporters should make sure to get the real story on Mr. and Mrs. Finney.
