 If you're Italian or just kind of look Italian, the producers of HBO's hit mob drama "The Sopranos" want to see you.
This Saturday in Harrison, N.J., the series will hold a casting call for Italian-looking men and women age 16 and older. "They're looking for speaking and nonspeaking roles, and for a lot of really interesting faces," said an HBO spokesman. "The Sopranos," HBO's acclaimed drama about a New Jersey mob run by Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini), is one the most talked about shows on television. The casting call will be at Harrison High School, located at 1 North Fifth St., from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Potential stars should bring a clear head shot ? a photograph, that is ? and any other specific acting details. HBO's spokesman said there will be no auditions for specific roles; rather, casting people are scouting for participants to return later for auditions.
