uTour.com is now showing several of the interesting sites of (mostly) downtown Portland, home of the dtheatre crew.?They use technology from iMove to show 360-degree spherical views.?
Utour.com is a privately held immersive media solutions provider that creates, processes and hosts 360-degree virtual tours for a variety of niche markets, including cities and communities, college campuses and residential real estate.?
Their website and content are quite impressive, but the technology behind it is especially interesting.?iMove provides a production and delivery system that enables users of video content to select different camera angles, including a 360-degree spherical view, control playback speed and direction, rewind and freeze frames and delve into audio, text and website hotspots.?Some projects are made using 2 inch cubical spherical video camera with six sub hemispheric fisheye lenses.

Read your email. I'm not popular enough to have stalkers, and I'd like to stay that way :)
