Duchovny will be returning for the 8th season of The X Files next season with a reported $20 million in the bank.?That's between $350K - $400K an episode...Hard life, huh? The financial battle was over Fox's distributing of the show to affiliate channels, like FX, for less than normal prices.?Duchovny was also looking for a less stressful work schedule.?What's intresting is that he will not be in every episode - only 11, which is half of the regular season's episodes.?The producers had already filmed alternative episodes for the season end in case Duchovny didn't return.?You can read the full story from Fox News right here.
