We could tell you that dtheatre.com is for sale.?We could tell you that Michael Jackson and Elton John are soon to be married, Or perhaps that Quake IV is about to be released.?Or George Lucas got hit by a low flying air plane in some freak accident and has decided to release Howard End II.?But we won't! Every year in every country all over the world a whole bunch of people try to fool another whole bunch of people, but that whole bunch of people are expecting to be fooled so they don't believe a word of what anybody else is saying.?I am one of those people.?Nobody quite knows how April Fools began but one theory is that April Fools began when Charles IX, following the Gregorian Calendar, decreed January 1, 1562 as the official New Year instead of the the end of March/April 1 Solstices.?Individuals who continued to honor or forgot and celebrated April 1st were teased, ridiculed and played pranks upon.?This must have been too much fun, it spread from France to England and then to the US.?Now we have a day of havoc for us all to tread and enjoy.?Now this story, the dates are all in dispute, proving Time maybe the best trickster of all.?Which brings me to another point..?is this true or am I trying to fool you? Who knows, and I wish that the guy yellin' "Fire, Fire!.." would shut the F**k up.?(Note: I (egor) have changed my alias to Jack, Or have I?) Enjoy your April Fools.
