Hey! Don't insult ellis like that! I mean, of course my reviews are stupid. I've never been to film school, I think apart from Roger Ebert's years of experience and book smarts, he's a dumbass, and I don't claim to be literate/coherent. But I saw it, and thought that the plot was crappy enough to complain about, but that it was made well enough to be excused, and all the kung-fu action made it fun to see. Go read your local paper for a more professional review.
No Offense But..

No Offense, But I have to agree with mister anonymous: that review straight up sucked. I mean consider the information we got after reading it:
1. You like violence
2. You like Kung Fu
3. The cinematography is good
4. A few random pieces of the plot that we don't need to know
5. You like violence.
6. You don't necessarily like the plot (but this is ambiguous)
7. You don't like Jar Jar
8. You like violence.
Your review lacks, and I doubt that it's just me an anony here that think so.

I'm usually the first to point a finger (it's healing well, thanks for asking), but I saw Romeo Must Die with the reviewer, and there's really not much more to it than that. A+ cinematography, A+ Fight choreography, and... nothing else. If you're looking for Howard's End, go see Howard's End. If you're seeing more in this flick than the aforementioned, you're probably seeing depth and meaning in the Bush Campaign. I can tell by your masterful command of prose and reason, Shemp, that you're a (insert appropriate lifeform here) that appreciates a well thought out and crafted analysis of popular culture. If you find a diatribe of that pedigree on Romeo Must Die, you'll know what it is to experience creative writing in the service of dreck. It's a bitchin' chop-socky. Do we really want , or need more? I like expensive wine, but I don't cook with it.
