(CNN)-We don't adapt to our surroundings; we adapt our surroundings to us. The proof is everywhere. From the homes we live in to the business cards we carry to the computers we type on to the clothes we wear, the things we use are suited to our tastes. The Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum in New York is trying something different: highlighting designs as recent as yesterday. The museum's Smithsonian branch has just premiered an exhibition titled "Design Culture Now." It's part of the National Design Triennial, a series providing a contemporary overview of what the museum considers "leading developments in American architecture and design." The exhibit features well-known names as well as designers who work in virtual anonymity, says lead curator Donald Albrecht, who's overseeing 83 individual designers and companies in the 8,000-square-foot exhibition. Just because of their color doesn't mean they're all that good, their performance really sucks just like all the other macs that were ever made!
Fuck Macs!!!!!

Yep, that's right, asshole. The poor little crappy 333Mhz iMacs only manage to outperform 600Mhz Pentium III's... Apple may be arrogant and stupid, but they're still better than the competition.

Oh no! A pathetic version of the original computer related flame war. I might as well contribute :) Macs have always had excellent hardware, a crappy OS, and a huge price tag. And PeeCees have always been extremely configurable and crappy hardware (unless you're not cheap when putting together your own box). Bring on the flames!

That's right, just keep throwing out "Macs beat P3s anyday" without listing any kind of benchmark. I'm sure you can just look at them and compare them in your head. And if you do decide to benchmark, try not to use one that is optimized for Macs like Macintrash did when their first iMacs came out.
Thanks

This guy should be the President. He clearly has a good no-nonsense head on his shoulders. What ever happened to people and things being held accountable for their performance?

Well, now in 2003, the shoe's on the other foot. OS X rules, and Windoze is still...well buggy.

Another jealous PEE CEE owner vents. Don't worry. Someday you'll get a GOOD job, and finally be able to buy a Mac.

Hey dummy. Guess what? Whether you know it or not, today you're using a Mac. Or at least a cheap copy of one.

Who cares about the megahertz myth. You have to keep the computer running, and with Windblows, we all know how hard that is.
Are they still in business?

No, I don't mean Apple. I mean Microsoft. Weren't they in some kind of trouble with the federal government for breaking some laws? Maybe the Republicans will let them off the hook. We all know how flexible they are on laws they don't like.

this is really funny. u no y? cuz it shouldnt even be an issue in the first place. Obviously Macs are failing to outperform PCs. Everything about macs, from slower and less configurable to more expensive and wastes more processor power, is in favor of the PC. Anyone who buys a mac is an idiot.
