(SeyboldReports) From the little experience I've had with Flash, I knew someone could do a better job with a similar product.?Adobe's LiveMotion is intending to do just that.?They acknowledge that Flash is the standard for web animation, so it supports SWF, Animated GIF, and the new scalable graphics format being developed by the W3C (the WWW consortium).?What bothered me the most about flash is that it's built around cel animation using symbols and instances, which is painful for anyone familiar with the ease of keyframing in something like 3d Studio.?LiveMotion, however, is built around manipulating objects, attributes, and transforms.?Even if it's not good, it will drive Macromedia to develop a better product.?It will be available for beta testing in early March, and it will be released in April or May at an introductory price of $300.

Hell yes..... Flash is cool and everything, but I would have to agree that the interface IS A PAIN IN THE ASS. It would be cool to work with something that closely resembles Adobe AfterEffects. The whole instances thing in Flash.. I just hate. And the way that objects are treated in Flash is just too convoluting.
