In this animated fable, it was a time when theaters were being dominated by pop singers and performing rock bands. An illusionist finds his career threatened, and has to resort to performing in small gatherings. Along the way he mets an pretty admirer, who is spellbounded by his trade.
Unable to find courage to speak truthfully to her, he continues to lavish her with gifts until he has nothing else to offer.
