Urticaria Relief: Remedies that work

An effective urticaria relief is the first thing every person suffering from it would ever wanted. It can be a painful and irritating experience to get hit by urticaria, good thing there are lots of simple yet effective remedies for it.


Taking in more water, particularly mineral water, is a good start. Warm water enema is also nice, and avoid foods that are not easy to digest. You should avoid drinks like tea and coffee because they can raise adrenaline levels which in turn would also raise the histamine levels in your body. Histamine being released to the surface of the skin is what causes urticaria to occur.


Taking in antihistamine dosages like Benadryl can bring some quick urticaria relief.

Because the affected area can become very itchy, warm, and swelling, you can apply cold towel or cool pack over it as relief.


Other forms of urticaria relief includes: salt that is dissolved in water and drunk to relieve effects of urticaria such as digestive disorders; mint that can be mixed with brown sugar then boiled and drunk to relive the itching effect; and turmeric powder mixed in water that has antiseptic properties and can be taken in regular intervals


Last but not the least, you should often get fresh air and sunlight, because it is considered essential for urticaria relief. But avoid exposure to cold weather.
