Inmate data base 101.
An inmate data base is a government resource containing inmate records. A search through the records in any current inmate data base can prove to be very useful as such a search will reveal if a person has committed any crimes and sentenced to spending time in a correctional facility.
Checking the records in a public inmate data base is a very good idea. It can give you useful information for the people living in your area as well as for anybody with whom you intend to have some kind of business or personal relationship. Typically any record contained in an inmate data base will state the date of the arrest, the reason, the court sentence, the name of the correction facility the person has been sent to and the dates of their stay there.
How to search for public records in an inmate data base?
Every county, state or federal detention center (prison or jail) has its own public inmate data base. People are allowed to search these databases for the records they need. Some of the inmate data bases are also available online.
In case you are not aware in which inmate data base to search for the records you need or if you do not know whether or not they have any records on their name, you can use a third party inmate data base. Such databases are connected to all government resources and will allow you to search all of them in the same time using just a name.
