Being aware which records are referred to as vulnerable records can greatly help you in case you need to search for these public records. Vulnerable records are public records of children or vulnerable adults and the information contained in these records is not always absolutely public.
Vulnerable records of adults include all public records of people over the age of 18 who are considered vulnerable by state or federal laws. Typically vulnerable adults are considered all who are unable to take care of themselves or protect themselves due to mental or physical illness or impairment as well as the very old. Vulnerable records of juveniles include records of people under the legal age and may include all types of records, including criminal records.
Access restrictions applied to vulnerable records.
Vulnerable records are not always available to just about anybody interested in viewing them. In many cases some restrictions regarding the access to this type of records apply.
