President Clinton's strongest tech focus during the State of the Union address Thursday night came when he announced initiatives to train more teachers to be tech-savvy and to open technology centers for adults in 1,000 communities.?"We are fortunate to be alive at this time in history," Clinton said, beginning his nearly two-hour-long speech.?"The state of our union is the strongest it's ever been," he continued, prompting an extended roar of applause.?But the president said that, to remain a leader, the United States must ensure a strong work force and make sure that the poor and disenfranchised aren't left behind.?Read more ...
