Richard is a middle-aged frustrated novelist who can't seem to grow up. All his life he has come to rely with an imaginary superhero friend in his head. His wife suggested he spend time away in anothe place in order to remove his writer's block. There he meets Abby, and decides to hire her as a baby sister in his home, although there's no kid around. Abby is a 17 year old girl who has a bad past brought about by a family tragedy. A new friendship is found when they got something to enjoy with each other, like Abby's homemade soup and Richard's attempts at Origami.

They soon realize they must forget the past in order to face the future ahead of them.
