A brief introduction to criminal court records.
Federal court criminal records and county court criminal records are two types of public records that fall under different jurisdiction. County courts file and maintain criminal court records of crimes committed within the borders of the county or the state while The Federal Court maintains records of federal crimes. A person may have more than one criminal records courts files and in many occasions his or hers county criminal court records may not be included in the federal one.
Regardless of the reason why you need to check someone's criminal court record, you must make sure you have found all bits and pieces of his or hers criminal history.
How to find criminal courts records?
A successful criminal courts records search is usually done online. The reason for this is simple- internet technologies allow fast and accurate lookup in all government criminal records databases. As mentioned above, a person may have many criminal court public records but they are not necessarily stored in the same database. A good criminal record search engine will be able to check all possible locations and come up with a list of records in only a few seconds.
In addition an online search is much easier, confidential and cheaper than any other public criminal court records search. You need only the person's name and can search from the privacy of your home or office.
