As much as I enjoy (nay, am consumed by)technology, I have much appreciation for film.?This year, Sundance had its biggest turnout of digital stuff ever, which was a handful of companies in three small rooms.?Totally digital video production is one of the best ways for starters to get into film, but it leaves much to be desired until it will be recognized as a quality medium for creating film.?Most find that DV is primarily used for short films, documentaries, and business videos [ahem - porn].?Hopefully we'll be able to provide a little more insight when the VX1000 arrives here.?Read more...
