What are traffic infraction records?
Traffic infraction records are those public driving records that contain information about traffic infractions in someone's past.
Infractions are considered civil cases of minor law offences. In terns of driving, small traffic violations such as driving without a seat belt, speeding, etc. are considered infractions and they will be listed in a traffic infraction record.
Traffic infractions usually do not require the driver's appearance in court unless the driver does requests a hearing to explain their version of the violation. In such case a traffic infraction record can quickly turn into a court traffic record, especially if the driver is found guilty.
