When a driver can get traffic contravention record?

Traffic contravention records are those public driving records that list a driver's history of traffic contravention violation. Moving traffic contraventions are in fact all the road signs we see - speed signs, traffic regulation signs, vehicle type signs, etc. Let’s imagine a driver sees a sign prohibiting entry for cars in a specific street. Now let's imagine that this driver will decide to ignore the sign and enter the street. If the police stop them at this moment, they are very likely to get a ticket and this will go straight to their traffic contravention record.

Many people underestimate the importance of traffic contravention records - they believe that these are minor moving violations that can be easily ignored. However a big number of minor traffic offenses don't speak well for the driving abilities of its owner and this person may suffer reduced chance to get a transport related job.

Which road contravention offences are recorded in traffic contravention records and how long they stay there?

It is interesting to see which of the moving violations related to road contraventions are recorded in a driving record and if they are ever erased. As mentioned above, all violations are listed in traffic contravention records. Avoiding Traffic Contravention Records! Click Here!
