There are slight differences in the information filed in arrests records. Arrested records however always list the most important bits of data about the person and the crimes he has committed.
Local arrest records may not have exactly the same format or the same information. Each state in the US has its own regulation regarding the information that can be included in public records. Typically you will see this information in any local arrest records:.
- Name, nick name (if applicable), social security number, date of birth, county and state of residence.
- Number of the crime case
- Date of the arrest
- Type of the crime and the charges
- Sentence and fines
- Probation and prison time
Some records may also contain information about the court where the trial took place, court taxes, the name of the correction facility the person w.as sent to, etc
Where to find arrests records?
Reports about crime activity can be obtained from public records databases. These are now online so it is really easy to find the information you need. What is very important though is to search in a good database that collects information of all state and federal databases. This is the only way to be sure that you are getting full, accurate and up to date arrests records information. If you wonder how a public records search website collects information, you can ask them via email, read customer reviews and read carefully the small print in their terms of service. In case you are unable to find any information how they collect their results, better find another public record database.
