Gabriel Richmond seems to have everthing in life: a loving wife and daughter, a lucrative career as a talented architech, and close friends. But Gabriel has another side of his life, a fictional one where he dwells most of the time. He decides to write a play that intends to portray life around him, including characterization of his wife and daughter. But the more he tries to examine the relationship of people around him, the more he discovers that he is missing many parts of his own, with lots of mistakes. Using his typewriter and hand-held tape recorder, Gabriel wants to portray him in the story, in a different, re-authored way.

As the real life around him slowsly begins to take its toll over his too much attention to the unreal one, Gabriel struggles to make things meet and reconcile half-way.
