Elaine Cheng, a single mom with two kids, just found themselves loosing their homes over a foreclosure problem. They were forced to move out and settled in a lowly apartment in the city outskirts. Elaine is hardworking, and takes on different jobs, including that of a network company that promises big earnings. Little does she know that this company offers a pyramid scam, and is already under a watchdog surveillance. One night the kids found themselves alone when their mom didn't came home.
