Starring acclaimed British actor Paul Bettany and his real-life wife, Academy Award winner Jennifer Connelly in a film derived from a biography penned by Darwin's great-great-grandson Randal Keynes reveals the life of Charles Darwin as a world-renowned scientist and dedicated family man. He is a guy who fell deeply in love with his religious wife and to his growing belief in a world where God has no place. He had made a masterpiece entitled "On the Origin of Species" which became the justification of progress in biology. However, this book didn't seem so easy to finish as Charles struggles to accept the death of her daughter and found himself caught in a battle between faith, science, love and truth.
