Mel Gibson stars as a detective in this film. When her political-activist daughter calls him on the phone that she's coming home, he sees nothing wrong with it and even looked forward to seeing her. But a sudden turn of events unfold when they came home and her daughter gets killed in what news indicates was originally intended against him.
Not convinced, he began his own investigation and was about to discover layers of conspiracies within the government in which her daughter got into contact and thus was marked for termination.
