A Single Man is a romantic story adapted from Christopher Isherwood’s novel of the same name. It’s about a story of a 52 year old gay college professor (Colin Firth) whose long time partner (Matthew Goode) passes away in front of him. He struggles to find a meaningful life and tries to look a brighter future every single day. However, each day seems to lead him into emptiness for he never cease to let go of the past and still dwells in it.
He was consoled by his closest friend and chased by his young student having a feeling of similarity in spirit.
