Xbox 360 wont load: how do you get rid of the problem?
When your Xbox 360 wont load your first priority should be to look for the dirt that has settled on the disc surface. You should avoid physical contact with the surface of the disc and hold it on the edges.
The surface should be completely devoid of any kind of scratches as they prevent the disc from operating smoothly and Xbox 360 wont load as a result of it.
If you have a dirty disk in hand, try to wipe the dirt off with a clean, soft, and dry piece of cloth. The cloth should be gently moved from the center of the disk to the outlines.
After the cleaning procedure is complete, try and load the DVD into your console. If it continues to flash an error message, then your disk is damaged and you need to replace it with another one.
Xbox cannot load: other reasons
It might as well happen that the Xbox loading screen goes blank as a result
of issues other than a disk error. In order to determine, if that is the case, you need to check a few things.
- Switch on and then switch off your console to check whether the DVD gets detected
- Try to insert another gaming DVD to ensure that the problem is not just about the one you are concerned about.
- If you have the option, try and load the disk on another Xbox 360 console.
- If your console is equipped with an additional MU or memory unit or a HDD, then you switch off the console completely, separate the drive, plug it back and insert the disk to see if it works.
