Mateo Blanco, a screenwriter and ex-director, got involved in an brutal car accident that cost him his sight. He later changed his name to Harry Caine. Several years ago, Mateo began to develop feelings for Lena, a secretary who wants to be an actress. At that time another guy, Ernesto Martel, a corrupt stockbroker who is also a producer of one of Mateo's movies, also became involved with Lena.
The jealous Martel commissioned his son Ray to create a documentary of the making of the movie "Girls and Suitcases" so that he can spy on both Lena and Mateo.
