Richard Stevens is a young and low-ranked operative working in the office of the U.S. Ambassador in France. An untimely call assigns him to assist and work with Charlie Wax, an FBI special agent. Charlie was working under a high-risk mission in Paris to find out and stop a terrorist plot to attack the city. Together they make up an odd team, but everything heats up faster than they could imagine. It's low ranked meets high ranked as they cross paths in this wisecracking, fast-shooting, full-of-action movie.
Jonathan Rhys Meyers plays the role of Richard, while John Travolta assumes special agent Charlie's character.
