Antartica, the last place on earth anyone would ever want to be in. As Antartic winter closes in, a body was found on ice. US Marshal Carrie Stetko is called upon to investigate, and along the way crosses path with a U.N. Operative who is also investigating the murder. She was attacked by the killer and almost died after being left for dead, loosing two fingers due to cold-related injuries. What appears to be the first ever homicide in the land of nowhere soon gets more mysterious as more traces of murders unfold.

As the only law enforcement in the territory, Stetko races against time to track down the suspect, to discover long-buried secrets hidden underneath endless ice, all of it in the Antartic whiteout.
