Shits yeah! This trailer gets me amped, looks like "8 mile" with soul. A quick glance at Biggies wikipedia page reveals a ton of life experiences to pull from, even though the rapper died at the age of 24.

Biggie is played by a Jamal Woolard, a.k.a "Gravy", a fellow Brooklyn Rapper. This is Jamal's acting debut, but the part looks made for him. Sometimes real world experiance is the best acting school.

In 2006, Jamal was shot in the ass near radio station Hot 97 on the way to an interview. Un-deturred Jamal did the interview with a bullet lodged in his ass, so at least we know the mutherfucker is determined.
