Obviously the list was compiled by people who can't remember any movie that was made before 1995.

Empire Magazine says that this is a list of characters as voted on by the readers. If that's true, then Empire Mag has no talent editors who allow a ridiculous list like this to be printed.

They should have taken the 100 highest voted characters and put some effort into ranking them from there. No fucking way is Tyler Durden the greatest character in the history of film.
