De Niro, Scorsese Reteam to Paint Houses

Legendary actor/director combo Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro are re-teaming for a silver screen version of I Heard You Paint Houses a book by Charles Brandt. The film and book, is based on the life of Frank "The Irishman" Sheeran (to be played by De Niro), a notorious mob hitman rumoured to have carried out the assassination of Teamsters' boss Jimmy Hoffa.

Scorsese will direct and produce the project while Steven Zallian, who wrote Scorsese's Gangs of New York and won an Oscar for his Schindler's List screenplay, will pen the script. Scorese is no stranger to the mob genre neither is DeNiro. I think I smell an Oscar nomination. Read more at Variety.

Maybe the problem is that I expected it to be easy and learned too late that is extremely challenging. The difficulty of life combined with the disapointment brought by major experience (love, work, friendship) keeps me up or makes me bury my head under the pillow.
