It's a sad day in Hollywood with the premature deaths of two stars, just one day after comedian and actor Bernie Mac died early on Saturday morning, soul legend Isaac Hayes has also died.

Comedian and actor Bernie Mac died early on Saturday morning after losing his battle with pneumonia. The 50-year-old star of Ocean's Eleven and its two sequels passed away at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, a week after being admitted. He had been battling ill health since the start of the month.

Isaac Hayes (1942-2008)



Oscar winner Isaac Hayes best remembered for his classic Theme From Shaft and lending his voice talent to Chef in South Park, was found unresponsive near a treadmill at his home by a member of his family. While the cause of death has not been announced, it seems a safe assumption that it was probably a heart attack.
