Toy Story 3 Plot Leaked!!!

I guess that would be an exciting headline if I were talking about pretty much anything but Toy Story 3, but apparently it's newsworthy as it came up in a recent article in The Wall Street Journal. Despite the fact that the plot has been kept under wraps by the studio, The Wall Street Journal reported that, "Woody the cowboy and his toy-box friends are dumped in a day-care center after their owner, Andy, leaves for college".

Okay, I'm not one to judge here, but this plot seems a little implausible to me. First of all, wasn't Andy like 9 when the first toy story came out? So that's assuming that Andy actually kept his toys for however many years until he graduated from high school, and then instead of choosing to just throw them away like a normal person, Andy--if that is in fact his real name--chooses to put them in toy day-care? And as "day-care" implies a place where parents have someone watch their kids (ahem, toys) for money, this is going one step further and saying that College Freshman Andy has decided to spend his hard-earned dollars having his toys cared for by...I don't know, whoever chooses to babysit toys for a living. I'm not saying that Toy Story 3 isn't going to be a good movie, just that it might be a little bit unrealistic. Maybe Pixar should take some notes from their friends over at Universal Studios. Now Hellboy II--there's a movie with factual integrity.

I guess that the plot revolves around Andy going to college, and his mom (who probably kept the toys as a memory for him) chooses to dump or donate them to a day care center for kids to play with. Te kids will probably mistreat the toys, they'll miss andy and at the end meet some girl or boy who will take care of them just like Andy did... happily ever after

I completely agree.  I have no idea how you get "paying for someone to watch toys" out of sending them to a daycare.  They are donated toys.

I heard that the plot revolved around Andy being kidnapped by his drunk, abusive father. Woody, Buzz and the rest of the toys go to rescue him but end up being used by the father to sodomize Andy.

The first movie was over ten years ago (1995) so it is completely plausible that Andy is now old enough to go to college.

   I'm sure you mean well with your ideas, but I am sure it is safe to say you are a little misunderstood because a "toy day care" would be absurd.  The plot undoubtedly revolves around the toys being donated to a children's day care.  Besides, as a parent, I can say, kids are not that picky about what they watch as far as cartoons go.

Yes the whole toys that come alive is all well and good but OH LAWDY THE FACT THAT HE KEPT THE TOYS! Yes THATS where Pixar made Toy Story unrealistic.
Get a clue man, it's a kids movie. it's meant for entertainment not for the in depth plot.
