For Christmas my brother gave me a copy of Kevin Smith's book, My Boring-Ass Life, which is basically a year's worth of posts from his blog.
I dislike Smith's films, but enjoy his ramblings in public settings, like colleges and the aforementioned blog. If he could write a script half as well as he can spin a yarn about his own life, he'd be one of the greatest filmmakers of all time.
But anyway, the point is, I've been digging My Boring-Ass Life enough that I went to the website of the publisher, Titan Books, to see what else they've done. Turns out they are "a leading publisher of high quality film and TV tie-ins, with particular strength in the area of licensed entertainment titles." This is very cool for SUPER Hollywood buffs. You know, those of you who bought a replica of Anduril and hung it above your fireplace, who own 473 movie soundtracks on CD, and who not only NEED to own 24 seasons 1 - 5 on DVD, but want all five of the Official Companion booklets with accompanying unseen pics, exclusive cast interviews and a pleasing glossy layout. Titan also features reprinted Transformers and Star Trek comics (the original series), a 320-page ode to the Friday the 13th series, and much more. Check it out, crazy collector-types!
